Here’s probably your first back-to-school story of the year. My wife teaches at a private school and they start earlier than the public schools (this year, at least). My wife’s work colleague’s best friend’s cousin is the long-time girlfriend of the guy that played the part of Allen in the recent movie “The Hangover” (very funny movie, BTW).
By my trusted fingers and toes calculation method, I’d say that make for six degrees of separation between me and “Allen”.
How’s that for a brush with celebrity?
Albeit a brush to the 6th degree.
